Lunch Options Confirmed

I don’t know why, but the meals we have on picnics always taste so much better than the ones we have indoors – Enid Blyton, Five Go Off in a Caravan

The wait is over: lunch options for the Conference have been finalized!

Although, you’re welcome to visit any of the local restaurants, please keep in mind our lunch break is only 60 minutes long. On a Saturday afternoon in downtown Fort Langley many of the restaurants will have significant wait times…

… which means we are very pleased to announce that Well Seasoned, a local Langley company, will provide lunch for us on May 26th. If the name looks familiar, you might have recognized it from Panelist Angie Quaale‘s bio, because she’s co-owner of the gourmet food store!

We invite you to pre-order a picnic lunch prepared by Well Seasoned, which will be available for pick-up on-site. All food provided by Well Seasoned, including the dressings and sauces, is home-made. All options, including dessert are gluten-free except the Artisan Cheese & Charcuterie box. Lunch selections are as follows, and can be purchased during the registration process:

  • Big Bowl Salads w/ choice of Wild BC Salmon, Roasted Chicken, or Roasted Chick Peas & Sweet Potatoes (vegetarian)
  • Big Bowl Salads w/ Quinoa and choice of Wild BC Salmon, Roasted Chicken, or Roasted Chick Peas & Sweet Potatoes (vegetarian)
  • Artisan Cheese & Charcuterie box w/ an assortment of crackers and all of the accompaniments
  • San Pellegrino Sparkling Limonata or Sparkling Water

We have our Fingers Crossed for a Sunny Day, but if the weather doesn’t hold, we’ll have seating inside, as well. And, in keeping with our plan to implement green options wherever possible, our picnic lunches will come in eco-friendly packaging. Bon Appetite!
